Accessibility
Our Commitment
PaleoPro is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across our entire site.
What We've Done
We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility on paleopro.com:
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes — Our navigation, modals, forms, and interactive components use proper landmark roles, labels, and state announcements so screen readers can accurately convey page structure and functionality.
- Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (buttons, links, forms, menus, and drawers) are operable using a keyboard alone. Focus is properly managed when opening and closing overlays.
- Color contrast — Text colors meet the WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds.
- Dynamic content — Cart updates, form validation messages, and rotating announcements use ARIA live regions so assistive technologies announce changes as they happen.
- Form labels — All form inputs have associated labels, either visible or screen-reader accessible, so users understand what information is being requested.
Known Limitations
While we work to ensure comprehensive accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Third-party content — Embedded videos, social media feeds, and third-party widgets (such as our subscription management portal) are controlled by external providers and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
