High-Protein Recipes

Protein powder doesn't have to live in a shaker bottle. These are recipes we actually make: protein coffee done properly, muffins that don't taste like a supplement, no-bake bars, and a few savory uses for beef protein that tend to surprise people.

A few practical notes before you start. Protein powder soaks up liquid more than flour does, so baked recipes usually need a little extra moisture, and overbaking is the fastest route to a dry muffin. Some of our powders are meant for cold drinks only, and we've written up which is which before you pour one into a hot mug. Every recipe here works with other powders too, though your texture may vary.

If you want the easiest win, start with protein coffee. Then move on to the muffins and the breakfast list. The older recipes further down date from our early years in the kitchen. They still hold up.
